Dance has been my language for as long as I can remember. Since I was six years old, every practice, every mudra, every rhythm has been a step toward this moment — my Arangetram. But as I prepare to take the stage, I keep thinking about how fortunate I am to have had this opportunity, and how many young people out there never get the chance to pursue even their most basic dreams simply because of where life placed them.

That thought is what inspired me to make this celebration about more than just me. I would be so grateful if you could join me — not just in witnessing this milestone, but in helping a deserving student somewhere build a future they never imagined possible. Even the smallest gesture of support carries enormous weight. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of this journey.

ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE

Nine years of dedication, one sacred stage

After nine years of devoted training in Bharatanatyam, Sai Soundaryaa’s Arangetram marks her formal debut on stage — a milestone made possible by the blessings of her Guru Smt. Akila Chetan, her grandparents, parents, family, and cherished friends. This celebration of classical art is also an opportunity to create a meaningful impact beyond the stage.

FUNDRAISER

Making this event more than a performance

To give this milestone a deeper purpose, Sai Soundaryaa is raising funds for Aakkam Foundation — an organisation dedicated to ensuring that financial barriers never stand between a student and their education.

Aakkam’s work transforms lives. When a student from an orphanage receives the support they need to reach college and beyond, it does not just change their future — it reshapes their entire family’s story, for generations to come.

HOW AAKKAM HELPS

A scholarship that goes far beyond money

Aakkam identifies aspiring students from orphanages early — well before their final school exams — and walks alongside them all the way to employment. This is comprehensive, end-to-end mentorship.

Academic guidance

Personalised mentoring through school, college & career.

Emotional support

A caring network so no student feels alone

Essential resources

Tuition, hostel, study materials & living expenses

Path to employment

Support continues until the student is self-sufficient

Every contribution counts

No donation is too small. Your generosity can open doors that were never meant to be closed. Join Sai Soundaryaa in making this Arangetram a gift — not just to art, but to a child’s future.

Donations made to both our India and U.S. chapters are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G in India and Section 501(c)(3) in the United States.
