Panchayat Union Primary School & Anganwadi in Selambanur was established in 1963. It is situated in a rural area, 15 km from Coimbatore district headquarters in Tamil Nadu. The school provides primary education and has a total student population of thirty. However, the students were lacking in basic equipment for physical training, which was necessary to enhance their physical education and overall school experience.

With the support of the School Headmaster, Ms. Geethanjali, the Aakkam team recognized the essential requirements and procured the necessary equipment. By providing the required items, we aimed to improve the students’ physical education and create a more fulfilling school experience for them. Upon our team’s arrival at the school, the students were thrilled, and the School Headmaster graciously acknowledged our efforts.
