Camp Details

Public eye camps play a vital role in overcoming barriers such as poverty, lack of awareness, transport issues, and fear, which prevent many people from seeking timely eye care. The primary goal is to detect, treat, and refer individuals with eye problems to reduce preventable blindness and vision impairment. The camps focus on screening common eye conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and refractive errors. Camps offer counseling on eye health and follow-up care arrangements. With the invaluable support of the sister Ms. Depazzl at the organization, Aakkam Foundation successfully conducted an eye camp for 70 people, identifying 20 with potential refractive errors. The event was a great success, as people warmly welcomed our team, and Sister Depazzl graciously expressed her appreciation. Aakkam Foundation sincerely thanks the management for this opportunity. Our team truly cherished the time spent with everyone.
